E-journal Spotlight

Front cover of Aerospace Science and Technology

Aerospace Science and Technology

Aerospace Science and Technology publishes research articles focused on both fundamental and applied aspects of aerospace science, with a clear emphasis on practical applications. The journal covers topics related to the design and manufacture of aircraft, helicopters, missiles, launchers, and satellites, as well as the control of their operational environments. It also includes studies on the various systems these aerospace vehicles interact with, whether as platforms or as targets (Provided by Publisher).

Front cover of the Journal of Aircraft

Journal of Aircraft

This Journal is devoted to the advancement of the applied science and technology of airborne flight through the dissemination of original archival papers describing significant advances in aircraft, the operation of aircraft, and applications of aircraft technology to other fields.

The Journal publishes qualified papers on aircraft systems, multidisciplinary design optimization of aircraft, structural design/dynamics, active structural control, flight mechanics, flight control effectors, flight and ground testing, measurement techniques, aircraft system identification, applied computational fluid dynamics, aircraft aerodynamics (including unsteady aerodynamics), aeroelasticity, aeroacoustics and aircraft noise, integration of propulsion and control systems, flight hazard prediction and mitigation (including icing, wind shear, lightning), economic effects on aircraft, regulatory effects on aircraft, reliability, maintainability, and production methods.

It publishes papers on general aviation, military and civilian aircraft, UAV, STOL and V/STOL, subsonic, supersonic, transonic, and hypersonic aircraft, and lighter-than-air systems. Papers are sought which comprehensively survey results of recent technical work with emphasis on aircraft technology application (Provided by Publisher).

Front cover of the International Journal of Aerospace Engineering

International Journal of Aerospace Engineering

International Journal of Aerospace Engineering aims to serve the international aerospace engineering community through dissemination of scientific knowledge on practical engineering and design methodologies pertaining to aircraft and space vehicles. Original unpublished manuscripts are solicited on all areas of aerospace engineering including but not limited to:

Mechanics of materials and structures

Aerodynamics and fluid mechanics

Dynamics and control

Aeroacoustics

Aeroelasticity

Propulsion and combustion

Avionics and systems

Flight simulation and mechanics

Unmanned air vehicles (Provided by Publisher).

Front cover of Progress in Aerospace Sciences

Progress in Aerospace Sciences

Progress in Aerospace Sciences is an invitation only international review journal designed to be of broad interest and use to all those concerned with research in aerospace sciences and their applications in research establishments, industry and universities. The journal is devoted primarily to the publication of specially commissioned review articles designed to bring together under one cover current advances in the ever-broadening field of aerospace sciences. No artificial limits are imposed on the length of papers and authors are encouraged to provide specialist readers with an orderly and concise summary of recent work, including sufficient detail for more general aerospace readers to be informed of recent developments in fields other than their own (Provided by Publisher).

The University of Manchester Library provides full access to content from this journal from 1961 to the present day.
