Referencing guide at the University of Manchester: Mendeley

Notice for Mendeley users

Mendeley is not compatible with the University's subscription to Office 365, so the Library is no longer able to support this referencing software. Support is available via Mendeley Guides and Support Centre. We recommend new users of reference management software to consider EndNote 20 or EndNote Online. For more information please contact the Teaching and Learning and Students Team.

Recover Mendeley references from Word

Reference Extractor is a free tool to extract Zotero and Mendeley references from Microsoft Word .docx documents. It only works with active citations that have been inserted through the Zotero or Mendeley word processor plugins, and that haven’t been converted to plain text. The tool runs locally on your computer, keeping your Word documents and extracted citations private.
